Once inside the house, he began showing her around )
"That's alright," she told him quietly. "I understand, so don't worry." Lavender gave a lop-sided smile. "I've got no desire for an unwanted audience." She reluctantly moved away from his comfortable embrace. "Yeah, let's go upstairs. I'd love to see the game room - lead the way!"

"Well, here it is," he said, waving an arm toward the room. "We haven't used it very much yet. I don't think I've played billiards since Christmas. Do you know how to play? I'm not very good so I don't think I could teach you."

Moving away from Ron, Lavender crossed over to a window, peering out at the darkened view of the town. "Not a bad view," she remarked, turning to smile at Ron. "You've got a really nice house."

He crossed the room and stood behind Lavender, wrapping his arms around her shoulders while they looked out into the night. "View's good too," he said, giving her a little squeeze. "I've never looked out this window at night." He remembered flying at night a few times during the war. The circumstances weren't fun, but there was something exciting about flying in the moonlight with the wind ruffling his robes and stinging his cheeks.
"Have you flown on a broom at all since those lessons we had in first year?" he asked softly.

She frowned slightly at his question. "No," she said finally, shaking her head. "I don't think I have. Don't think I've needed to." Lavender turned her head to look up at him. "Why?"

Leaning down, he pulled her closer and kissed her again. "Well, if we're done watching DVDs and we're not going to play billiards, we might as well go to my room now."

Lavender smiled at Ron's suggestion, pressing a kiss to his throat. He certainly knew how to get to the point and that was something she could admire. "Yeah, somewhere a little more private," she said, enjoying the closeness she felt just being held like this. She let Ron lead the way to his room, though, closing the door firmly behind them.

Lavender settled herself on his bed, leaning up on one elbow. Ron had bought a few small candles at the market to use for what the Muggle sex book called "atmosphere". Lighting them with an Incendio, he turned off the overhead light and settled on the bed next to Lavender. "That's better. You comfortable?"

She leaned over, kissing him gently. "You know," she admitted, "I've been looking forward to seeing you all day."

"So what do you want to do now?" he asked in an innocent tone of voice. He didn't want Lavender to think he was only interested in her for sex, because he wasn't. Now he'd got to know her a bit he actually liked her a lot. He was already trying to think ahead to Valentine's Day, but he wouldn't worry about that tonight. He would pay attention to what she wanted, because experience had shown him that was the best way to get what he wanted too. This time things didn't need to be frantic like they were the night at the dance club. They could take their time and do things slowly, if they wanted.

"Well, we're in your bedroom. On a very comfortable bed." With silencing charms on the room. Lavender took her hand from Ron's, fingers trailing along Ron's jaw. "How about you kiss me and we'll see what happens?" she said softly.

"Bugger, you caught me," he teased, a little shiver going down toward his groin as Lavender trailed her fingers along his jaw. When they approached his lips, he sucked on the tip of her index finger. "That sounds good. But I think we know what will happen. Not that I'll mind at all."
Reply
"I won't mind at all, either," Lavender murmured in confirmation, eager to have him even closer than he was now. Her hand moved down from his face to rest on his hip as she kissed him again, taking her time and in no rush. Slower and nowhere near as frantic and desperate as in Xanadu seemed more appropriate for this evening.

"I've got a book on sex around here somewhere. If you wanted to look at it. Or not... we don't have to." And, of course, the rest of the safe-sex presents Hermione gave him before Christmas, which were tucked inside his night stand.
