Still quite sickity sick.  I might have bronchitis by now, since it's lasting so long and saps me of so much energy.  I'm taking some good herbs, lots of liquids, expectorants, and teas.  I still barely have a voice.  I spent my shift at the food coop yesterday working at the entrance desk, which requires a fair amount of speaking.  I created a ( Read more... )

I got a bad cold as I approached the weekend.  I was a little hoarse on Friday night.  I taught a teen self-defense class on Saturday, alone because both peer educators were unable to make it.  By the time I finished I was down to silence, occasionally interrupted by squeaks.

It's the week before finals and I've taken the day off. I've done a lot of reading and some writing. I just came back from a walk in the park - lots of robins and swallows, magnolia trees budding along the path. Later I'll do some dishes, write, and read some more. Beautiful, beautiful day *
