Another Semester Begins...
Whew, the past five days have been the busiest I've had in months. I've finally got a few minutes to update this thing, so here it goes.
Classes have all started meeting now, and things look like they'll go well for the next few months. I'm not too crazy about one or two of them, but I wouldn't expect to like them all. I've had 3/5 of the professors before, so I'm looking forward to a semester with few surprises.
Most friendship issues are slowwwwwly working themselves out. I guess hoping things will turn to perfection is a big task in itself, so being patient about things working their way towards that goal is important. If I think about these issues too much while I'm not well-rested, I end up only finding dilemmas and being too ambivalent about how to approach them. I'll have to digest everything this weekend or early next week if I can get a few solid nights of rest (see below).
Tom's been staying at my place all week, and he's been the main thing keepin me busy. Now I know what people felt like over the summer when I visited while they were working or taking classes. I have to get up early for my classes while Tom has the option to sleep in, get up late in the afternoon, and then try to find entertainment all the way until 3 or 4am. I did the same thing during my visits to Clemson over the summer, now it's my turn to host and have class. I'm having a great time - just slightly missing some of my sleep ;).
