We got up early to get ready for the house cleaners, and put away a few of our travel things. I slept a lot trying to get over a cold. In the evening I took "T" to karate group class. He had fun.

Today "T" was home from school because it's the first day of winter break. He had a good time at home, and managed not to get bored as much as he is sometimes. He did a lot of Lego building, among other things.

Alas, "J" might be getting my cold. Bad enough that one of us is under the weather.
I spent much of the day reading Babel. There was a big dramatic turn after the trip to China.

I had a cold today. I rested a lot.

This morning I took "T" to karate group class. He came out smiling; the Saturday morning group class is his favorite.
During the day, both "J" and I had sinus congestion problems. Not fun, but T respected our need for rest, which we both appreciated.
In the evening, the Saturday night on-line meeting didn't happen due to technical problems with

"T" was home from school to recover from the fever, but I think he'll be OK to go back tomorrow.
My sore throat is mild now, and only one lymph node is aching. Improvement!
"J" hasn't complained of illness, but she's sleeping a lot, which is a sign that she's probably not at full speed.

"T" went back to school today, but came home and needed a nap, uncharacteristically. He wasn't up to karate group class, and later had a fever.
I have an ache in a couple of lymph nodes, and a sore throat, but not a lot of other symptoms.

I did a lot of art, and mostly finished a drawing.
"T" was sick and had to come home from school early again. We called in sick on his karate lesson.
"J" did some gardening.
I hosted tonight's Monday evening on-line get-together. We had fun.

It seems "J" is getting better faster than I have. I think I'm mostly over my illness, but I started my medicine a week ago. J has improved more quickly.
I've been reading Perelandra to "T" for a while. I'll probably finish tonight or soon. It has its moments, but I think Out of the Silent Planet is a stronger story. I hope the third book is

I had a physical therapy appointment today. It went well. I should do my homework more diligently though.
I worked on the structure too. I attached the north OSB panel, except that I didn't fully attach it on the door side because it still needs weatherstripping foam.
