Panic at the Disco

As I mentioned earlier, "J" took our daughter's friend "M" and M's friend to a concert featuring Panic at the Disco. J said that she enjoyed the opening act. (I'm not sure whether I heard their name, but if I did I forgot it.) After checking out the main act on Youtube, J had low expectations for them. But she said they did some really good covers - which she guessed were mainly aimed at parents and other chaperones - and delivered an impressive spectacle.
As expected, M and her friend were thrilled with the show.
But after the show, there was the matter of getting home. J knows buses really well, so she was a good guide for them, but it was pretty late, so she was a bit worried about getting out of the concert in time for the last bus. That turned out to be no problem; the last bus is pretty late, and it turned out to be quite a bit delayed by traffic from another concert the same evening: Pearl Jam.
I met them near the usual bus stop, but not exactly there, because the usual spot was inaccessible due to late-night construction. Not long after picking them up, I ended up getting caught in a really long detour, also due to construction. I'll be interested to see what they did where the roads were closed.
Anyway, once we escaped from the detour, I dropped off M and her friend at M's home; the friend would be there for a sleep-over. From there, J and I went home, quite exhausted.
