floor work, giving rides to a concert
For quite a while today - on and off - I worked on the floors. Today's work was mainly driving a bunch of screws through the master bedroom subfloor into the floor joists, to minimize squeaks, and keep the subfloor level under the floorboards that will be there.
Next step is to vacuum, sweep, and try to get all the debris away, then lay down and moisture barrier. I don't know whether I have time or energy for that tonight.
Another project today was taking "J" to pick up "M" (daughter of our friend "K") and M's friend, and drive them to Seattle Center for a concert: Panic at the Disco. I'm not familiar with them, and J isn't really either, but she will be a good chaperone for the girls. I joined them for a late lunch early dinner before the show; dinner was delicious. Then I headed home to continue the floor work.
I also visited my parents in Bellevue, and gave "T" a ride home from Bellevue.
