(no subject)
HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!
Last night was indeed good times. Brendan, Pink & I went over to a party at Mike & Carrie's apartment. I had 2 rum & pepsi's, since there was no coke, 2 Washington Apple shots & a Smirnoff something or other. I saw a bunch of people I knew & met some new ones. There were 2 guys who were apparently interested in me, so they'd hang around me & chat it up, but then once they realized I had a bf, they just disappeared...imagine that! Brendan got a kick out of it though.
This was the first New Year's where I actually had someone to share it with, so this one was extra special. Normally, it's just another day to me, but now I can't wait til next year! Ooh, I'll also have a date for Valentine's...I haven't had one of those in years.
Saturday, I got to meet my cousin Marci's 6-month old son, Dylan. My parents & I drove up to northern jersey for a Holiday Open House at my cousin Stacey's house, who is Marci's sister. He is adorable & the food was very good.
I was invited over to Brendan's sister house for dinner tonight, but seeing as how I didn't get home til about 8:30 this morning & only got 3 hours of sleep, it's not happening. Well, I mean...it COULD, but my parents are also in AC, so I'm also house/dogsitting. There'll be other times though.
I'm starting my new hours this week. I'll be working Wed-Thurs-Fri. Saturday is Dog Fashion Disco's final show, but my first, so I am very much looking forward to it. I still haven't found my license, so if it doesn't come in the mail by tomorrow, I'll have to find time before then to go get a duplicate.
