so yea.. the proofing paper came today for the anthology...i cant belive im going to be PUBLISHED!! woohoo!! i am now oficially a PUBLISHED AUTHOR!! amatuer who? not me!! woohoo! also...they sent me this notice saying they chose my poem out of the 200 in the anthology...to ALSO be read and recorded by a human voice... the note on my proof sent to te supervisor dude... "Howard, Stephanie's verse is wonderfully expressive. I suggest you also select it for the "Sound of Poetry". its not the fact that i was actually chosen that makes me feel happy...its the idea that someone thought that i was good enough to be chosen...that they would nominate me...that makes me feel so damn good. I really feel like i could make it as a writer. My friend is looking into helping me get some more exposure! yesness!! well for now...im outtie!
