(no subject)
Occasionally the local newspaper has a page with the newborn babies. Apparently a couple with the last name "Weiser" named their child Bud. Yes, that poor kid's name is now Bud Weiser.
Am I the only one who doesn't read the Big Bang reveal of who is writing what? I checked the posts for authors and sighed happily whenever I saw that someone I like. But I didn't read the summaries. I do usually read summaries when stories are posted, but reading them now would be almost like being spoiled for me.
I don't exactly need glasses, but they were recommended to me for driving and watching TV, so I guess I'll go get some. I'm almost exited. I don't know if I felt the same if I had to constantly wear some (although I'm sure I'll have to some day in the future, because both my parents got glasses when they grew older) but for now I'm cool.
My mom and a friend went to see a French movie today, and I tagged along but saw Wolverine instead. I quite liked it. I don't care much for fight scenes, I rather see a good story, but at least they had neat effects. The story reminded me a bit of Supernatural. You know, with the two brothers promising to protect each other. One of them going a bit blood-thirsty (okay, so I fully intended that pun), the other trying to stop him but not able to kill him. Anybody involved with them dying. The revenge thing. And the sometimes quite bad bluescreen (like when Logan and Kayla are in the car).
I almost saw Star Trek, but then my mom and her friend would've had to wait half an hour for my movie to be finished, and I just had to wait ten minutes for them.
You know what? I find my own (though not made by me) icon scary, but man, it's a great one.
