Britney Spears is the antichrist.
Jeez, and everyone thought it was going to be Bush. He's just a scapegoat. Britney is the perfect decoy for america to remain in a capitalistic stupor of the ideal life (the American Dream, the manifest destiny) and perpetuate the status quo and nothing else. So long as she exists (in symbolic form, I don't care whether it's Britney, Jessica, Jennifer or Lindsey, really) there will be no revolution.
I just sat through total footage of her wedding feeling super ultra cool being fed by the media for an hour. With my peasent vision it was quite amazing something this hip was coming in over the wavelengths and so while I wanted desperately to vomit, I couldn't turn away from it, I had to know exactly what societal transition is up against.
And so I wish this illness was identifiable.. no not the mental one. I can't even just call this the common cold, it's a sore throat and random headaches all over my skull, slight fever... Neo-Citron ensues, prescribed by my wise parents, my dad's mumbling in between his Celexia and Tylenol Sinus. The warning label, amoung many other scary precautions, screams: May cause drowsiness, nervousness, restlessness, etc etc... Is it an upper or a downer? Does this depend on my serotonin content? Oh well, I suppose standing too close to a microwave or accidently licking lead paint (man that stuff is still everywhere) could do the same.. or maybe just a night of heavy drinking.
The new Motion City Soundtrack cd forefits (sp?) originality for better overall presentation, their sound is more together and less local garage band.. but I know nothing about music. I only write my opinion here because emailed criticism is at least delayed and easily deletable.
Well off to my medicated psychosis.. I now know why real drugs could never be in my future, I'm about 5 seconds away from being a hypochondriac.
