Quick and Dirty Conversion of Quirky Jacket to Steamy
Hi everyone,
The latest how-I-did it post at the Steam Wench's Salon (link below) involved me taking a quirky little thrift store find and, with just the addition of trim and the changeout of it's closure, turning it into a funky little steampunk jacket. So, I took this little jacket (this photo taken AFTER I removed the tangerine tie shown and replaced with a hook closure:
And by adding this fringe trim, the hook and eye closure, and (I confess!) the Girl Genius pin (I'm a fangirl, what can I say)
Turned it into this:
