Some steamy items from Modcloth

Modcloth is a fairly ordinary cute/hipsterish online clothing shop, but there are a few items which strike me as rather steampunk. For example, these shoes:

These gloves don't particularly scream "steampunk", but I think they'd go well with a steampunk outfit:

And have a gander at this scarf!:

There's a slew of other things which are quite steampunk or would fit well into a steampunk ensemble. If you must be all orientalist, and you also don't want to learn how to wear a real turban, this turban-hat could come in handy. And I can't help feeling there's something a bit steampunky about this dress, with its brass buttons, brown tweed fabric, and tailored shape. (I'd actually really like to hear if anyone else gets the same vibe. Anyway, I personally own it, and can tell you that, steamy or not, it's very nice.)

This belt, which is actually three belts in one, recalls one available at Clockwork Couture. And I think this might be a nice corset for people who don't like corsets; the back is elastic, so it's hardly even a corset at all, but it looks like quite a nice one. There's also some octopus jewelry.

And I just want to know what you fair people think of this romper. It's overtly Victorian-inspired, but it's pretty weird. Anyone think they'd wear it?

And if you care to go looking, there are a lot of coats, blouses, and jewelry which could be steampunk depending on what you wear them with.
