Reversible Messenger Coat
The Costume Mercenary was recently commissioned to make this reversible messenger coat, with a dash of steampunk thrown in and I thought to share this here. This is what we finally came up with (the coat kindly modelled by the new owner).
One side is silk damask and the other faux suede. There are a plethora of pockets (both hidden and less so).
Due to being modelled after a Georgian frock coat rather than anything from the Victorian era, I'm hesitant to say it's conventionally steampunk beyond there being something of a twist in it somewhere, but what do you think?
