Boobs are fashionable right?
Okay here’s the deal, Clockwork Couture is raising money for boobies. Big, luscious orbs of fleshy goodness that spill out of corsets.
Did I get your attention? Good. Because we’re doing it to save them. Women going through breast cancer can sometimes get help with medical bills but nothing helps with rent, electricity, food and other expenses while they are disabled. If they were fortunate enough to have a job still by the time they had to go through treatment they’ll get some money, but not enough. The Busted Foundation (http://www.bustedfoundation.org) is a non-profit that helps with this and we are raising money for the cause to help local women going through what must be one of the toughest moments of their lives.
What we are asking for:
Donations! Money, money, money. I know we don’t all have a lot, but could you brew at home today and give that $3 to women who really need it?
Donations of stuff! We are starting an auction to raise money for the cause. Do you make something Steampunk oriented? Can I have it to sell? 100% of the money goes to the Busted Foundation.
Bowlers! We are 3 people short of our team. We are bowling on October 24th in Busted’s “Bowling for Boobies” event. It’s in Hollywood. Please though, only if you will truly show and help spread the word of fundraising. Thomas Lennon of Reno 911 will be there along with Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Go’s.
I will gladly return the favor however I can. I can include flyers in our parcels for your company. Right now is our busy season and we expect to ship nearly 600 parcels during the month of October. I’m great at house painting, cat-sitting, babysitting (I’ve got my FBI background check as I’m an ex preschool teacher), and I paint custom ornaments every year. If any of this appeals to you, feel free to ask in return and I shall.
