Saloncon Photographs
As many of you know this weekend was Saloncon in Somerset, NJ. I don't think I need to explain what it is, as I'll assume everyone here has some sort of knowledge about it, even if they did not attend. But I'll still plug the website as www.salonconvention.com/ .
Friday night was the steampunk meetup; and although many people, myself included, had a very difficult time getting there due to the worse traffic jam ever ( over an hour to drive 4 miles, not exaggerating either), it turned out to be quite fun. A lot of people showed up and everyone was wonderfully dressed, interesting folks. I enjoyed meeting all of you. Saturday was the day of the convention and the ball, as well as boot surgery and steampunk arm wrestling. All in all, much fun! Now, let us get onto the photographs. A warning, -very- image heavy.
And the best way to begin is with a mad scientist doctor and a number of medical tools.
And a clockwork heart.

Now let us continue onto the following day. Saturday time. Certainly I have to show off my own outfit. I was quite pleased with how well white turned out. Basically my goal was to make a white outfit, since I never usually wear white.
Although I am blind, at least I look cool. I'm glad I ended up getting these glasses. they were quite popular as well.
And now to show off some other lovely costumes at the event!
An outdoor photoshoot took place, we walked across the street from the hotel and probably confused a number of people who saw us marching past.
She did not fall.
Then the Chrono'Nauts Parade took place. There were a lot of wonderful entries. Very many people showed up and they all looked wonderful.

Evelyn~ She looked incredibly cool with this on.

Surgery on my boot was performed at one point.
Sadly, the boot did not make it.
And we shall finish off with the best steampunk arm wrestling ever.
