A few quick sketches of a short I'm working on with schumers

A little bit of testing and experimenting, and a lot of learning! I've never done anything remotely similar to this (okay, maybe a little, in colouring), and it took a while to get to this point, but I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of it.

I've been very angsty lately about not being able to paint, and I think one of my biggest problems is impatience. Painting inherently would take longer than doing flats, and I think I just need to slow down and take it easy.

So I tried doing an oekaki with that in mind!

An oekaki I drew the other day, because I was really emo about using photoshop and all the stress it causes me. Sometimes I just want to draw, y'know!?

Although I just purchased MagicPicker, and maybe that'll help! I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
