I have to stay up until 4 or so to make a phone call, so I thought that since I'm up anyway, I'd try to write some story. Turns out, it's nearly impossible to come up with anything (or even spell correctly, as I'm oh-so eloquently displaying, thank god for spellcheck) when my eyes are crossing every so often.
So I opted to ink something instead. I didn't finish, but I figure I could post the sketch, since I scanned it and all...
And oooold old character of mine. Actually, not that old. A year or two?
I liked him a lot cause I really liked his name.
Commissioner Godspeed, the guy who is born with a destroyed face. I've since added other things to his bio too, and I'll probably post that as well when I post the completed image. I have to say though, in general, the guys I've drawn have gotten a lot manlier. Hence, Godspeed has gained a lot of muscle from last time I drew him.
In anycase, I was pretty hesitant to ink him because I'll bet all the money in the bank that the skeletons are terribly inaccurate, and while I would love to fix them, I don't really have any sort of model of a skeleton or something I can work with that I can see clearly and know that it's accurate. I could just call the inaccuracies on "artistic license" or something, but I kind of know that won't fly. I haven't started to ink the skeletons though, so if anyone has any critique, please fire away.
Even better, if someone has some sort of site where I can see a 360 of a skeleton, that would help amazingly.
