Blimey! RESPECT to Eddie Izzard 43 marathons in 52 days. Boggles. It's my ambition to do one marathon without dropping dead from exhaustion. Have just signed up for this year's Reading Half Marathon. I gave myself an ET of two hours but this is possibly more than a little optimistic...

This probably won't mean much to anyone but me, but I popped into Oxfam at lunchtime and scored a complete set of Antonia Forest's Kingscote books and Lavender Leigh at the Chalet School. Am in a sort of Girls Own heaven.
 

Usually, as we know, I totally fail to get organised enough to get tickets for things I want to see. I did, however, book in plenty of time for Jerusalem and got excellent seats too.
