Lester looked around his office in horror. “I agreed to a ‘few decorations’, Jess, not a full-scale re-creation of Santa’s Grotto.”
Jess’s face lit up. “I know! It’s amazing how far a single box of baubles will stretch.”
Lester sighed but knew there was no point in pursuing the subject. Equally pointless would be telling Jess that her jaunty hat, mini-dress and pixie boots were not standard office attire.
He leaned back on his felt-covered chair. “Are all the teams in?”
“Yes.”
“Good. Give me ten minutes to go through the reports and then send them in one by one.”
