Lou Hertz died of cancer on July 4th of this year...
I just found out today...

Who was Lou?
He was introduced to me as one of the original animators that worked on "Mr. Magoo" and other cartoons during the 1950's...
I didn't even really get a chance to know him...

Happy 65th Birthday BUGS BUNNY!!!

Bugs Bunny first appeared in the cartoon short Porky's Hare Hunt, released on April 30, 1938. The short was co-directed by Cal Dalton and Ben Hardaway whose nickname was "Bugs".
