it's all a passing phenomenon, Charlie. but, when that guy says, it's not a passing trend, it's their life, that's absolutely true too. i have never lived in a tough neighborhood. somehow i feel this invalidates my experiences.

my Mom gave me two tickets to

"
POLK CITY
FIRE & RESCUE ASSOCIATION'S
world famous
HOG ROAST
"

it's June 25th, 4-8 PM.

Mom knows i don't eat meat, she doesn't either, but she gave these tickets to me for some reason anyway, saying maybe i could invite a friend or something. (i don't think this is why she really gave them to me.) she bought them because--even though we really have nothing to do with The Community, The Town, we barely speak to our neighbors, The Parents make it a basic point of ethics to give money to people that ask if they're homegrown at least.

but i sorta do want to go, i want to see this thing, i wanna video or at the least stare. anybody want to go to polk city's fire & rescue WORLD FAMOUS hog roast?
