NOTES:
This chapter is... okay. I think that I didn't do a thorough enough job in examining Kaname's guilt for everything Sousuke's had to go through to rescue her, but I don't think that this story is necessarily the place for that. I could see doing it much more justice in an angsty one shot vignette. Maybe some day I will write it, or someone better than me will take the challenge so I don't have to. (I'm so lazy.)
But I don't think I'm way off with this. It touches the surface of what I believe she'd go through when confronted with his new injury and it moves the story along another inch or two. So, yay for that.
The actual writing of this chapter was way too easy. I cut my fanfic writing teeth on angst, and it still comes smoothly. It actually even makes me ridiculously happy to write, if that makes sense. I seriously was just going to sit down and slog through a chapter (Kaname making her way to the kitchen/figuring out how to get Sousuke out of the bathroom, etc.) and suddenly, it was an hour later and the chapter was finished. Oops?
It really flowed, but it helps that I've been writing these chapters in my head for months and months now, so I kind of already know how I wanted the dialog to progress.
Hmm. I think that's all I have to say about this for now. Almost half-way done! And only two more chapters until porn! Woot!
