Dammit, why you gotta be so good?
So, I finished The Viscount of Adrilankha tonight.
That is to say, I finished Sethra Lavode after reading it as soon as I finished The Lord of Castle Black, which I started the minute I put down The Paths of the Dead.
My review: damn that was good book.
Seriously. Glorious. Trying to review The Phoenix Guards and Five Hundred Years After left me flailing like an idiot, unable to coherently express myself, and damn, having that experience three times in succession, with nothing to reboot the mind? Kind of a wonderfully intense reading experience.
... This was also pretty much the high point of my day, because Sarri hasn't e-mailed me back, cursing me for making her watch more Merlin.
Yet.
