Watching Pop's Ultimate Star kickoff and Rosita is just not doing it for me
[points at icon] What I really need is a "LiveJournal > Bebo" type icon. Lately people have been friending me on it, which has been extremely disconcerting as I don't have a Bebo and, being morally opposed to it, never intend to get one. The annoying part is that there isn't an unsubscribe link in the e-mails and I had to go and hunt for it in the FAQs. Not on, Bebo. I have suggested this in the suggestions, naturally.
Almost done with my photography assignment! I think this only happened because I finished all my enlargements in a week and a bit by avoiding the teacher.
I am really, really looking forward to Shakespeare Day. We're looking for costumes tomorrow arvo, which should be interesting. Oh yeah, we have ended up doing Titus Andronicus IV.I. I'm playing young Lucius (unlike in the movie, we're aging him up a bit), Talia is "grandsire" Titus (we always end up related to each other in drama things! I always used to play her sister in drama class), Essen is "my good uncle" Marcus, and Regina is "sweet aunt" Lavinia. (Ms. Pidduck was amused by our strategic casting: Lavinia can't talk for most of the play, including this scene; and Regina doesn't speak much English.) I get to run around the classroom/wherever and bowl into Essen. :D
Okay, Nik's not doing it for me tonight either. I know it's Brooke Fraser, but really he could have brought some more power into it.
Better Than Me - Hinder is one of my favorite songs at the moment (I liked Lips of an Angel too, and I can kinda play it). It's the lyrics, I think, especially the chorus: "I really miss your hair in my face and the way your innocence tastes. And I think you should know this: You deserve much better than me." On the other side of the musical spectrum, I'm extremely amused by Rihanna's Umbrella. Ella. Ella. Eh. Eh. Eh. Eh. Eh eh. Yeah, it's just that one line.
My word setting composition is going really rather well. This is what happens when I have inspiration! Also with word setting in general, because I'm kind of crappy with instrumental. STILL DON'T HAVE MY PERFORMANCE MARKS BACK.
I just got a couple of new songs in singing lessons, which is great as Autumn Leaves in French wasn't really working. Maybe it would have gone a lot better if I did French? Anyway. I got...some folk song I can't remember the title of, but the accompaniment's piano and clarinet? And Mandy Moore's Only Hope, which is awesome cos I know it already and now I can make it good and I can learn the piano for it! I wonder if I accompany myself could I use it for Level 1 and 2 performance? Hmmm.
Debate coaching was fun today. We tried a bit of rebuttal practice, by which I mean I made up a crappy negating speech on the spot for my girls to rebut. They did pretty well! And I felt I did pretty well with the improv-ing too XD
Oh yes, and I am a "Red Cross girl / civilian / singer / dancer" in the school production, 1945 :)

Chris, some random Fili guy from your school thinks we're going out cos he saw us walking down Lambton Quay last week. -_-
