There's nothing quite like...

Converting your NCEA grades to an American-style GPA and finding that, thanks to an all-unit standards subject (thanks a lot, psycho-do-nothing), your GPA is 2.2. XD

(If anyone's interested, what I did was make E = 4.5, M = 3.5, A = 1, and N/A = 0. Count up the number of credits you have for each grade. Times your number of credits per grade by the number I just chucked you for the grade. Add that all up and divide by your total number of credits.

A demonstration, using my credits (okay, I have a feeling some of you will look at my credits and laugh - SHUT UP, I DO MUSIC AND PSYCHOLOGY):

19 A = 19
8 M = 8 x 3.5 = 28
6 E = 6 x 4.5 = 27
19 + 28 + 27 = 74

Total credits = 33
Total grade points = 74
Grade point average = 74 / 33 = 2.24 (24 recurring) = 2.2)

Hmmm, if I discount psychology, it goes up to 3.3. XD

Well, no shit, Sherlock. Although this bit: "[GLB teens] are also three times as likely to have become pregnant or gotten someone pregnant." definitely surprised me.

teh ghey, gpa, ncea
