I think 25 is gonna be a good year.......
I have realized this past weekend just how many amazing friends I have. For the ones here on LJ, thank you for your birthday wishes. I've come to understand that 24 was a great year......filled with letting go and new beginnings........25 is going to be even better than that!
At midnight, I got to celebrate with a shot with my boyfriend and a kiss. And to me, that was absolutely PERFECT! While yes, we were at a show, I felt that in that moment, it was just the two of us. And it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that.
I'm not afraid to tell the world just how much I love Matt. While I started having great days before knowing him, he makes the days even better. There is only married couple bickering between us, coupled with lots of jokes and smiles and love. Never have I been with someone who made me feel like an incredible woman.......even though I know I am all on my own!
And his bandmates were awesome too, as at least one of them pulled me aside and told me how grateful he is that Matt and I are around, because we're enthusiastic and such a breath of fresh air. It's amazing how I was able to turn my life around in a year, fill it with the positives I needed to have, and despite all the negativity that surrounds me, keep that positive attitude.
So farewell to 24, a fantastic year full of growth, and hello to 25, another year of growth.......and pursuit of the dreams I've been building towards for many years. This year is gonna be a good one!
