Ever since she had first met him when they had been small children, Pansy had known that Draco was the only one for her. And she had known instinctively that she would follow him anywhere and do anything for him. There had never been any hesitation on her part, if Draco told her to do something; Pansy had done what he had asked of her. Even now when she suspected him to be doing something completely wrong and illegal for the Death Eaters, she couldn’t help herself from trying to protect him and keep him safe. She had always hoped that Draco wouldn’t follow in his father’s footsteps, not because she had any sympathy for the Dark Lord’s enemies, but because she knew that it was extremely dangerous. But she knew that he was committed to following in his father’s path, so she was willing to risk everything, including her own freedom, sanity and life. In her eyes, those things were such a small price for her to pay in order to save him. She’d do anything for him, even now when he had lost all hope for himself. So she did the one thing that she could, every night when he returned from his mysterious work in the Room of Requirement, Pansy would sneak up to his dorm and wrap her body around his so that she could give him some comfort.
