...was the yoga workshop I went to today after the luncheon!!
I learned a few things. I learned that cloth napkins (a la Glad Rags) are indeed available in Japan!! That's good to know. I learned that the following poses are good to do to stave off menstrual pains:
Cat stretch
Warriorz (I, II, Reverse)
Bridge
Roll-on-your-back-with-one-leg-outstretched pose (??)
Goddess
Down dog
I also learned that apparently it is entirely possible to learn how to control the flow of blood yourself??? That you can somehow magically hold it in and then go to the bathroom and let it all out like you would pee?? What??!!
This magic method is called 月経血コントロール (gekkeiketsu control) and I don't know anything about it other than the fact that it exists. But one student in the class claimed that she doesn't wear a tampon or pads or ANYTHING during her period, because she can control it herself. Now her periods are really fun (!) and she actually looks forward to having them (!!!). This is something I must look into further. :-O
Have you ever heard of such a thing??? I can't seem to find any information on it in English. D:
