Date | Content: Day of Rosa's arrival; Cecil meets the white mage, who's in a panic over their other childhood friend.
Rating: There might be some angsting, pairing fluff, and/or yelling at each other, but otherwise harmless.
Cecil's mind was reeling from an inundation of information, but still he didn't hesitate to leave the hotel in the second district of Traverse Town to meet Rosa. He'd had his first bit of good news since being transported to this new world, he thought, upon speaking with Firion and seeing Rosa again, but the woman he loved - and apparently was indeed going to have a child with sometime during the next seventeen years - brought with her severely grave news and a painful telling of what the future held in store for Cecil, herself, and Kain. It greatly disturbed the paladin to think that, despite their efforts, they'd somehow still lose the dragoon in the end. Cecil couldn't begin to understand it.
The first district was as crowded as ever when the white knight reached the town square, which was to say that only a few residents were actively outside, keeping the peace that seemed to naturally blanket the starlit world well intact. Some of the moogles were wandering the square, but Cecil didn't see the white mage. He frowned and took out the communicator that the moogles had given him, hoping they'd taught Rosa the same fundamentals about the device that they'd taught him. He started a new message and typed in a few words before sending it to the same device that was streaming Rosa's video feed earlier.
Rosa, it's me, it's Cecil. I'm in front of the Item Shop. Do you see me?
