I found my Pirates of Penzance CD yesterday, and a book with the words of all the Savoy operas in it! So now, from the pens of Messrs. Gilbert and Sullivan, I bring you my favourite opera song:

Very enjoyable experience all round! The acting was superb, the costumes good, the text excellent despite the inherent sexist vibe (it is four hundred years old, after all.) Interesting to move the action from Padua to the Irish countryside - without changing the text, so they still acted as though they were in Padua!
