Oh, You'll Take the High Road
Well, I'm back.
I love Scotland.
We had a great time - we were staying in a marvellously old hostel, very Hogwartsish altogether, right on the banks of Loch Lomond. Of course, they said it was haunted, but the ghost didn't show. Pity.
We had two concerts, and in between, we spent our time swimming, shopping, and going canoeing! I'd never been canoeing before. I loved it. We got mighty wet, but it was all in the spirit of the thing, right? :)
We did spend more time on the coach than anywhere else, having to drive up, and get the ferry, and drive some more, and drive from place to place while we were there - but I got very attatched to the coach in the end. It was sort of sad to have to leave it behind.
I didn't get sick on the ferry, which is very good. I also bought a new Jeeves book, which is even better: Joy in the Morning. I read it yesterday, it's great. It roughly corresponds to the episode with the fancy dress ball, Florence, and Jeeves as a Venetian, but it's set in Steeple Bumpleigh rather than America, and Boko is in it.
My school show is tonight. It was this afternoon as well, and it went brilliantly. Tonight's is for parents and such, and I hope it goes as well.
