Today I went to dinner with my friend Alex from high school. We usually get together once or twice every summer and winter break to catch up and stay in touch. Its always fun to get together because she has the best gossip (like the art teacher who now dates former students...scandalous). We went to Chili's (tradition) and we each got nachos. Today I went with Dave to the skating rink. While he played hockey I read more of my book. After that we went to a general store and penny candy store from my childhood. June isn't even over yet and I'm already tremendously bored and SO ready to go back to school! This is truly pathetic. I am pleased with myself that I am able to find such enjoyment and satisfaction with my classes but I'm slightly disturbed that when left to my own devices I am unable to feel fulfilled. I worked on the self-checkouts today. Awful. My job there is to babysit customers while they scan their own items. Do you see the irony there? Self checkouts...bring out the worst in me. I got an 89 on my Macro final...relief! I finished my interview project and now I have a book review due on Wednesday and a Crusades debate to plan for. Overall I'm feeling relief, book review=simple, hopefully. Now I'm kicking back, watching Deal or No Deal with my love and my sister. A long day. I got up early this morning to go over Dave's house and have breakfast before work. He made me one of those Jimmy Dean egg/sausage bowl things. He was so cute, I love him so much.
