It's been a tiring week (but that's nothing new). The cast is acting obnoxious, I'm a bitch for making them follow stupid rules like not being on their cell phones during the show, and people are still late over two months into the run. The lake was low-key and fun. We read, we puttered around in the boat, we made s'mores. A nice getaway. Their family's cabin is on Lake Pepin which is part of the Mississippi River and the home of waterskiing! My alarm went off at 3:45 a.m. I picked up Diane and was at the boat by 4:30 a.m. to let the cast in by 5:00. They were on the morning news of our local Fox station. The last few weeks have been long. The costume shop is behind (as usual), so my deck manager and I have been sewing during rehearsal when possible (hand-sewing projects are quiet). Work was crazy all weekend. CRAZY! I never want to see another 17-year-old as long as I live. Ok, that's a lie, but it holds for the rest of the week.
