Life is funny.

I am a 38 year old guy with a past.  Hell, we all have one.  Some of it is good and some of it is bad.  That is how it goes with the balance of life.  Yet, I feel like I am very self aware of my strengths and weaknesses for the most part.  I am still growing and learning about myself, which is kind of the point, right?

It is hard to miss all of the people on my friends list (on here and in life) that are politically active.

I cannot even fathom how people are into this as much as they are.  It amazes me daily.  Don't get me wrong, I am not saying to do so is wrong.  People should be passionate about whatever they feel it important.  So please don't think I am ( Read more... )

In my life I have been lucky enough to not have to deal with death a lot.  I mean my family is still in tact, and I have had a few minor friends pass one when I was younger.  But today, Bobby Murcer passed away from complications of a combination of a brain tumor, and cancer.  This may not mean a lot to some people, but it hits me pretty hard.
