Thanksgiving Thanks.

I hope everyone is having or had a good Thanksgiving Day, where ever you may be.

Today I am thankful for my wonderful, loving husband, who took the time from our ride home with his family to help a stranded woman fix her flat tire on a very busy freeway.

I am thankful for three wonderful kids, two of which are wonderful even when they are vexing.

I am thankful for my husband's family who provide a stress free environment to enjoy huge holiday meals together. I grew up with a family that did very little for the holidays. So I went to a friend's home whose family was always yelling and noisy with each other in a very stressful way. So, to go to my husband's family's home for the holidays is a pleasant experience I relish and enjoy. And I am glad I was able to take my Mom there in her last few years, so she could also enjoy the family experience. It was my dad who was bah, humbug about it all.

I am thankful for my health, and need to do more to improve it.

And I am thankful to my friends and to you all, who have been reading and caring here on LJ for all these many years. I appreciate you.
