Xmas Wish List 2009

Nov 27, 2009 00:36

Since members of the family or friends might wonder what I would like for Christmas, here's this year's wish list.

So, here's the long list .
• Clothes, such as: Silk or soft wool sweaters, Disney sweat shirts, RPG (table top) or geek t-shirts, nice blouses, nice pants or long skirts (tend to classic styles, or house comfy). Please note I prefer natural fibers such as cotton, linen, hemp, wool or silk. But for warm winter sweat shirts, blends with poly is acceptable. My current size is approx. Womans size 16, or 16W, or XL.
• Gift card to Joanns or Hancock Fabrics. I would like a garment steamer - the kind with the long hose to also steam your curtains. Pretty fabrics and a Clover Mini-iron II would be nice.
• Nice pretty fabrics (see the note above on natural fibers).
• Gift cards for fabric from: Dharma Trading, Thai Silks Renaissance Fabrics, or even eBay.
• silk threads for sewing or embroidery, any color, but prefer jewel tones, gold or black.
• picture frames, 4x6 most common, or 8x10.
• large external hard drive for backup of my Mac.
• Bento database software for Mac.
• round hat boxes
• books, music or dvds or gift card from my amazon.com wish list, or the wish list I used to keep under my husband's name.
• Pretty larger earrings (prefer garnets, pearls or amethysts) from the Dragon's Treasure... also the Tudor clasps are nice, from 2 pairs to several pairs. Or any of their little boxes.
• Table top large easel frame. They also carry a tote on that page that would work as well, if not better than the tote below.
art carrier: the larger 32"x42" size or similar.
real gold leaf &/or shell gold
dogtooth burnisher
digital camera with zoom and micro settings. Ideally, I would love a Cannon Rebel digital body, so long as my current lenses worked with it.
• Wooden "shaker" style boxes, any size from tiny to large. Modern is better than antiques, as I would hate to ruin an antique.
• Babysitting time to allow my husband and I to go on a date, just the two of us.
• Time at a day spa.

Now, if you really have tons of spare cash lying around to burn on a gift for me... here's some "dream items", that someday I would love to have.
• Rectangular Marquis slant sides Panther Primatives tent with extende dining canopy, size to be determined (at least 15'). Ideally, it will come with all of the poles, stakes, ropes, wooden furniture, etc. And come in a trailer that I can pull around on a new van (Honda, Toyota, or similar high end van with good safety rating).
• Viking Husky Top of the Line embroidery/sewing machine with complete totl designing software (or even the embroidery design software from Corel)
• a complete monthlong trip for 2 to the UK, with various nice hotel/b&b rooms in various cities, including a trip to Scotland's Isle of Skye, and a side trip to Paris.
