Inspired again...
So, with isabelladangelo sharing a portrait with me of Eleanora of Toledo wearing a lovely outfit in the color of sea green/watchet blue that I have, I remembered that I actually have some trim that I've never used, that I had bought a few years ago from a friend.
So, before the sun faded away outside, I took some photos of the fabric and the trim, to see what people thought of the new combo. It is not a combo I would have thought of, but then again, period color choices are not my strong suit, nor is choosing color combos like many modern quilters can do.
I could also use the gold & cream trim for a set of ribbon sleeves, that Lynn McMaster's has a pattern for; the Spiral Sleeve pattern (and which I already own).
