I am so sore

But at least my tomatoes are planted. So are the Armenian cucumbers Rob managed to find (at the one store we almost always can find that which we can't find anywhere else). I have three Japanese cucumbers still to plant, but I ran out of room for them in my one raised planter, so we are going to build another planter. Besides, I need someplace for a few other plants we've yet to get.

You know, for a husband who hates tomatoes and calls them "red kryptonite", we bought a lot of tomato plants. 2 are Early Girl for sandwiches and burgers, and 3 are Roma tomatoes for pasta sauces (that's what he wanted) and salads. At least I like them normally.

The cukes are what we both wanted, but may have been a few too many plants. We shall see.

I have the herbs still to plant tomorrow. I may put a few of them in large planters, as I don't have much room under my kitchen window. I hope to also plant the lavenders, and repot my poor overgrown aloe vera plant, which badly needs splitting.

Yeah, it is spring, and my back is aching from it. Ah well. I only hope the labor is worth it later. Now for a shower.
