hand sewing reminder

Working on the frock coat a bit while 'Elle was sleeping... I had issues with the canvas interlining the first time, so I knew I would be reworking the collar. Then I read the article "Eye on Interfacing" by Dawn Anderson in my Sew News mag, and she reminded me about catch stitching the interlining to the seam allowance area ... something I had read in a few of my sewing/tailoring books before, but had never actually done yet. So, that helped me quite a bit in tacking the collar area together, so I don't have to remake the whole collar.

And I am thinking of getting some basic batiste and organza for interlining fabrics for my upcoming wardrobe works. I've never worked with batiste before, so anyone have a suggestion on where to get some good quality stuff at a decent price?
