Cam is home from school, and he again has a stamp on his hand, showing that he followed directions and was a good boy in school. He just told me that everyone in his class got a stamp, because everyone followed the rules!!
Such a simple reward, but it really motivates him. Although I can just hear some of my friends thinking of the brain washing going on at a public school starting early. ;-)
But cookies are ready. And this was something I should have posted a few hours ago, then got distracted by Maurelle.
Oh, just a few things...
I like my Mom's old umbrella, which is in a light pink. It is a cotton umbrella for shade from the sun, and is nicely embroidered. I wonder how old that is?
And
casketgirl,
marymont really enjoyed your box of TIs, and the few Seasons (the A&S mags) that were also in there. I will be happily using some of the info she found in there, like the plans for a period tent using a modern set of inner workings. Very cool.
marymont mentioned to me that if you ever want to meet your local SCA folks, to give her a buzz, and she would happily introduce you to people. So,
marymont, meet
casketgirl who gave me that box of TIs I told you about. :-)
And
marymont, I hope to get that one article scanned sometime this week, and the photo I forgot to put on your CD of images.
