Indigo in silk broadcloth, part two.

On silk and indigo... the dye is not as deep, nor stays on as well through the wash as it did on the linen. So I will be redipping several more times to the silk to get a deeper dye on it, and perhaps even more dye added to the vat.

Note to self, buy more Synthropol. While I have plenty for this batch of dyeing projects, I am using more than expected for all the multiple washes, once to prep the fabric, one or more times to remove the dye from the fabric, and that is for each batch of fabric. I may just use regular detergent, multiple times, to prep the fabric beforehand, with multiple rinses as usual.

Oh, and another note... expect the fabric to go through a number of washings and rinsings when home dyeing.
