Walking and gardening

Jun 05, 2006 15:09

I walked today, my first of many. I would have yesterday but for menstual pain and sheer exhaustion from complete lack of sleep. I still hurt, but not as badly, even with meds and bananas.

Today I only walked about a mile, and that was because Cam, the toddler of energy, kept saying he was tired. I think he wanted to go back and play with Bailey, a neighbor girl that he has fun spending play time with. So, to make up for the extra mile of walking, I worked in the garden a bit and worked other muscles pulling weeds. Now I am really tired... all over.

I have to find my good pair of shoes... they wandered off to who knows where, so I had to pull out an old pair of walking shoes that just aren't as supportive as they once were.

Anything else? Hmmm... a used book on the Tudors came in, as did some swatches of yellow linen that I requested. None of the yellow goes with my gold/peach silk, which is more peach more often than the gold, so I may think of doing a peach pink linen instead. But I will test it out in the sunlight later and see.

That is all for now.
