So my dad ducked out on Friends & Family Day at my program today. My sister and her husband came, though. We didn't get to spend all that much time together, but it was for good reason. So, today's adventure began when I received a phone call from Senior & Disabled Services informing me that they had been holding my EBT (Food Stamps) account for about 7 months, in spite of my not having received any notification of said, and that if I wanted to come pick up my EBT card today, the balance was nearly $500, accumulated credit. So, I just walked a total of about 2 miles, almost on the dot. Unfortunately, I had to go to Google Maps to find out this information, since the pedometer on my iPhone failed to register a single step for some reason. I'm not sure why this is.
