I finally got my Journey of the Childmen dvd, JUUUST in time before class starts on Thursday. Excellent! Well worth the money, and all the boys were amazing, hilarious, their conversations should be dipped in liquid gold and made into ornaments. And Mike, always my favourite. <3 ( Read more... )

Its kind of frightening. I went to an afterparty for their Future Sailors tour and the girls there were just...yeah. Look, I have to say that if I was a little less drunk there might have been some homicides amongst the bint brigade. Mind you, the bouncers DID cherry pick a few of those exact same slags for another, slightly more private afterparty at their hotel. Horridy!

I have to confess that I *did* ask Julian for a photo that night because it was a fan event and an appropriate time to ask (I'd never ever bother someone in the street, its just too intrusive). He replied asking would I mind if we didnt because hed been in a photo shoot all day and he was sick of having his picture taken and I said ok because I get it must suck. Then I got a kiss on the cheek for being understanding :-P SCORE. Plus I got loads of nice shots from the pit. They are really lovely to their fans, is all I can say ;-)

Oh. Em. GEE. You got a kiss on the cheek?! That is SO EXCITING. But see, that's exactly it - at a public event it's fair enough. I mean I want people to go gaga over them, they're amazing. I just don't get why people don't see the boundaries (ie don't grab strangers and don't interrupt their day to day lives). Oh, that is so lovely, asking you not to and then a little cheeky cheek action. Proof being respectful pays off!

EEEE I can't get over it now, that is SO AWESOME. I would have gone home and had a cry.

Yeah dude. I didnt realise at the time but one of the girls I met there and ended up being facebook mates with after I got home told me about it (she got picked). Pretty disgusting ( ... )

It was the most extravagant thing Ive done in my life. I remember talking to Billy and saying... well I might go to London and he asked why and when I told him he reminded me that I was 33, hahaha. Twat. I just knew that they wouldnt likely tour here again. Now its all the mates I made there that keep me going back - I met the best people Ive known in my life through this fan base ( ... )
