I finally got my Journey of the Childmen dvd, JUUUST in time before class starts on Thursday. Excellent! Well worth the money, and all the boys were amazing, hilarious, their conversations should be dipped in liquid gold and made into ornaments. And Mike, always my favourite. <3
But seriously... What. The hell. Is wrong with their fans? Jesus christ! I thought I was bad! But I don't think I'd even ask for a photo or an autograph if I saw them in public somewhere, let alone PULL THEM BODILY INTO CROWDS TO BE MOLESTED. I just... do people forget they're humans? Our dvds, our merchandise, our books, our jokes and references - the things they release to us, those are our toys. HUMAN BEINGS ARE NOT OUR TOYS. Since when is it okay to lay your grubby mits on people you've never met? I get appalled when people think they can touch pregnant women's bellies because they feel like it - because it is appalling, you don't grab complete strangers... or scream at them, or interrupt their meals, or whatever.
This isn't just Boosh by the way, I don't understand why fans of anything think it's okay to stalk or harrass people they fangirl over. Keep that stuff to yourself (in your bedroom, where you can grope your life size David Tennant poster all you want COUGH COUGH). Those Boosh boys, man... they sold us a show, not their bloody souls. I'm GLAD they're not doing anything at the moment, I hope they get some peace.
