The past few weeks have been full of surprises. We were able to get out of our lease early and we snagged a great new place in JP. My Mom found out she's been living her entire life with a hole in her brain. (No joke. Apparently it didn't matter though.) I've been sitting on this news for a while, because I was hesitant to jinx it. Given that Tiff and I were basically merging two full apartments' worth of stuff into one, it wasn't surprising that we ended up needing a storage unit. She was able to find a good one very close to our apartment, and it currently holds some of the overflow, including two artificial Christmas trees. Yeah, we have priorities.

Actually, 24 hours till the movers arrive. Actually, LESS than 24 hours. And guess who isn't packed yet?

So I'm gonna go finish packing. While I'm doing that, do yourself a favor and go see WALL-E. It is wonderful.  And after it's over you'll just keep saying, "EeeeeeVaaahhhh!" OK, maybe that's just me.

The movers will be arriving at 8AM next Tuesday. Between now and then, I have to:

- Pack. Everything.
- Sell couch and foldout couch (any takers?)
- Donate/freecycle clothes, entertainment center, and coffee table
- Sell microwave, TV and DVD player
- Change renter's insurance 
- Cancel landline phone
- Cancel Tivo
- Change address w/USPS

I just took a looooong walk around the new neighborhood, and this is what I found out regarding walking distances from the apartment:

Kent Street T Stop (C Line): 10 minutes
Longwood T Stop (D Line): < 5 minutes
Coolidge Corner: 20 minutes
Brookline Village: 10 minutes
Longwood Hospitals: 10 minutes
