We'd been meaning to "entertain" in our new apartment for quite a while, but of course it took us about five months to actually get a party going. And of course the weekend we decided to hold said party ended up being a total shitshow as far as weather was concerned.

The latest weekend trip for Tom and me was to New Hampshire, to attend Nico and Jeremiah's wedding. The wedding was wonderful- a very casual, outdoor affair at Nico's family's vineyard. This weekend was wonderful but too full. It was the kind of weekend where I definitely didn't sleep enough, my apartment not only stayed messy but got messier, and at the end I was wondering where the hell my weekend went.

Friday was our last day in Italy, and we had the whole day to spend in Venice.

On Wednesday morning, we headed toward Termini Station in Rome to catch our train to Venice.
