A+ for getting a free drink!
On Saturday night a friend of mine used this line on a guy and it actually worked:
Karlie: Hey, do you think I could buy you a drink?
Guy: Sure, that would be cool.
Karlie: Well, that's where you're wrong, because I'm totally out of money. But you could buy me one if you want!
And he did. I swear.
In other news, apparently some men would prefer that some of us women be less ambitious. This doesn't make me feel any better. I guess my thinking that two "A+" people would make good partners is extremely naive. Or something.
