I just got back from our little "family trip" of taking my brother back to school (in Montana). We decided to try and make it a skiing/snowboarding expedition.....only (at the time) we didn't realize that there wasn't going to be much snow this year. I did get 2 half days worth of boarding in....the first day (at Silver Mountain in Kellog, Idaho) (at sil was the best.....if you like warm spring skiing that is. We did have pretty much the whole place to ourselves (it seemed like that anyway) so it was fun....but the next day (at Snowbowl in Missoula, Montana) sucked. it was icey, my board sucked ass and wouldn't turn, the hills were steep.....not so much fun for me. Plus only one chair was open (as was at the other place too.....but at least that chair didn't suck). I fell hard a bunch of times and now I am sore ALL OVER! i can only turn my head to the left....and even that hurts a little.....
anyway, the trip wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...being in the car for hours on end with just the company of my family and no music.....really wasn't that bad. i just stared out the window trying to fall asleep....
