I am in the process of reading The Haunting of Hill House, by Shirley Jackson! I'm not very far yet, so I can't say if this trend will continue, but it seems to me that ( Hill House has some similarities to the Cradle. (Spoilers for Hill House and Thief: Deadly Shadows) )

I think the universe is giving me hints that I need to go back to Robbing the Cradle. I'm putting the specific examples behind a cut, because if there's anybody out there who's wanting to play this game, not knowing ANYTHING about the Cradle will make it fifty times better. I promise you.
